A pergola usually takes three days to two weeks depending on size and finish. We'll site it for the afternoon sun and the view, and we'll tell you if a louvered roof is worth it for how you'll use the space.

Common questions
Wood or aluminum?
Wood looks warmer and can be built to any dimension; it needs periodic finish. Aluminum and louvered systems are low-maintenance and can close for rain. We do both and will help you choose.
Can it attach to my house?
Yes, when the structure and flashing are done correctly. We'll assess the wall and roofline and recommend attached or freestanding.
Will it hold up in a storm?
We size footings and hardware for coastal wind exposure. A pergola that's properly anchored is a very different thing from a kit set on patio pavers.
Can you add a fan and lights?
Yes. We rough in the electrical during the build so nothing is surface-mounted as an afterthought.
